From global retail to institutional investment, the past two weeks saw a wave of senior leadership changes across supply chain, logistics, and manufacturing. Companies facing disruption and cost pressures are reshaping their executive ranks to secure resilience, sustainability, and competitive advantage.

Levi’s appoints new Chief Supply Chain Officer to strengthen resilience and sustainability:

Chris Callieri has joined Levi Strauss & Co. as Senior Vice President and Chief Supply Chain Officer, effective September. Callieri most recently served as Chief Supply Chain Officer at Victoria’s Secret and has also held leadership roles at Tory Burch and Adidas. At Levi’s, he will oversee product development, sourcing, global supply management, sustainability, distribution, and logistics, reporting directly to CEO Michelle Gass. His hire comes as the denim giant navigates elevated inventory costs and shipping disruptions, making end-to-end agility and sustainable operations a strategic priority.

Kuehne+Nagel adds leadership depth to its e-commerce logistics division:

The logistics heavyweight has appointed Franziska Richter as Executive Vice President of E-commerce Fulfillment. Richter, previously with DHL Supply Chain, brings expertise in last-mile delivery, warehouse automation, and cross-border logistics. Her arrival signals Kuehne+Nagel’s push to expand fulfillment capabilities for fashion and retail brands competing in fragmented online markets.

Stellantis retools supply chain leadership amid EV transition:

Automaker Stellantis has named Jorge Almeida as Global Head of Supply Chain Transformation. Formerly with Volkswagen Group, Almeida has deep experience in supplier negotiations, battery sourcing, and global manufacturing coordination. His role will focus on ensuring raw material security and streamlining distribution as the company accelerates its electric vehicle ramp-up.

DB Schenker appoints North America CEO with supply chain focus:

DB Schenker has elevated Laura Meyer to CEO of its North American operations. Previously Chief Operating Officer for the region, Meyer will now lead efforts to integrate digital freight platforms, strengthen cross-border trade services, and manage resilience initiatives tied to U.S.–Mexico supply chains. Her appointment reflects the German forwarder’s commitment to reestablishing growth momentum in a challenging freight environment.

Flexport shifts leadership in product and technology:

Flexport has announced the departure of CTO Raj Subramanian, replaced by longtime Amazon executive Daniel Hsu. Hsu, who spent 15 years in global logistics technology at Amazon, will focus on rebuilding Flexport’s platform capabilities after a period of executive turbulence. The change underscores Flexport’s need to stabilize leadership and sharpen its digital freight execution.

From retail apparel to EVs and global forwarding, these moves highlight how companies are rethinking leadership to navigate shifting consumer demand, digital disruption, and geopolitical uncertainty. Expect further changes as Q3 progresses and firms recalibrate their executive teams for resilience and growth.
